Every month we report our numbers to a United Methodist website that compiles information from churches all over the country. In 2018, St. Matthew came in 53rd out of 7,569 churches across the entire country for average weekly attendance! Also, St. Matthew is consistently among the leading churches in attendance, small group participants, people reached and served, and offerings received in the
Mississippi River District, the Illinois Great Rivers Conference, and the North Central Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church, which includes eight states. This year we can add Professions of Faith to the list where St. Matthew is at the top. The Lord is faithful.
