Passing Peace from the Porch

   Pastor Bob has been “dropping” in on church members (while maintaining the social distance guidelines) and asking them to share scripture that has been inspirational for them during this time. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. - Nahum 1:7
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11

But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. - Joshua 24:15

 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:5 - 6

 

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enoughtrouble of its own. - Matthew 6:34

 

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have beencalled according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28

 

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. - Colossians 4:2
