The health and safety of our church is and will continue to be a top priority for the leadership team here at St. Matthew. No decision we’ve made is out of a place of fear, rather, in wisdom, listening, and prayer. We encourage you to keep this entire global situation in your prayers as we do the same.
Starting December 20 we are reopening for in-person worship. All are welcome to come. If you are not comfortable to come please continue to join us online.
We will have our two weekly Sunday services: 9 a.m. blended in the sanctuary and 11 a.m. contemporary in the chapel.
Celebrate Recovery will continue to meet in person on Friday evenings.
The thrift shop will be open from December 14 - December 18.
So that everyone feels comfortable, we are asking that everyone please wear a mask or face covering.
All other small groups and Sunday School Classes will not meet.
We will continue to live streaming our services on Facebook and our website at stmatthewumc.org/live and highly encourage you to join us online. Feel free to greet each other and chat on the Facebook chat during the live stream to stay in community with fellow believers. To listen to the church service via telephone call: (618) 239-4102. Share this new feature with friends and family who might not have internet.
Stop by door 1 at the church to pick up a copy of "Our Daily Bread", "The Upper Room" and the church weekly prayer list. There are also DVDs and CDs of previous 9 a.m. Sunday services available.
