About

The Student Ministry at St. Matthew exists to see students grow in their faith by encouraging them in 3 areas:

  • Bible- God’s Word to us by which we know how to live. Psalms 119:11, 2 Timothy 3:16

  • Prayer- Time spent talking with and listening to God. Matthew 6:6

  • Community- We were not created to be alone. We need others to sharpen us. Proverbs 27:17

Youth Protection Policy

St. Matthew Church seeks to provide a safe and secure environment for the youth who participate in our programs and activities. By implementing the practices on our Child and Youth Protection Policy, our goal is to protect the children here from incidents of misconduct or inappropriate behavior while also protecting our staff and volunteers (workers) from false accusations.

Sunday Night
  • Meet us in the youth room downstairs from 5 to 7 pm for youth night! Hang out with us in our game area and fellowship with your friends or make a new one.  We then have Snupper (Supper/Dinner) provided every Sunday from some of our awesome cooks in the church.  We then transition into some sort of loud, crazy game, worship led by our very own youth band and a message or small group to close out the evening.  See you there and bring your friends!

Wednesday Nights
  • Youth Band practice at 5:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. Come learn how to play an instrument or work the sound equipment.
  • Bible Study in the Youth Room at 6:00 pm.  Join us as we go deeper into the word.  We’ll have real, honest discussions about life and search God’s word for how to deal with our problems, how God gets us through the tough times, and how to live a Christ like existence.

Good News Club

Good News Club is back for the 2022 – 2023 School Year!

Meets every Tuesday afternoon right after school during the school year.

St. Matthew Church is host to an after-school Good News Club® for Kindergarten through 3rd graders. We work in cooperation with public schools to supplement the children’s education with biblical principles. Sound Bible teaching not only helps children grow spiritually, it also has a positive impact on their personal and home life, school performance and decision-making skills.
