 Missions Conference January 25-29. 

Missionaries from around the globe will be here to share the stories of thier ministries. There will be activities where you can interact with people who serve in mission work beyond the geographical and cultural boundaires of our local church. And, we will share with you how you may participate in the mission outreach ministries of Saint Matthew and other Christian service opportunities.

 

Wednesday, Januray 25- Family Meal (4:30-6:30 p.m.) and Interviews with people doing mission work in the Sanctuary at 6:30 p.m.

 

Thursday, January 26- Cottage Mission Meetings. You are invited to the homes of members of our congregation to meet and talk to missionaries. For addresses of the cottages, please contact the church office.

Mike and Virgina Shelton will host Kimberly Richey from Marion Medical Mission that serves in Africa.

Dale and Dottie Edwards will host Danny and Julie Beasley from One Mission Society (OMS) who have been working in Ecuador.

Curt and Pat DeZeeuw will host Warren and Velma Hardig from the One Mission Society (OMS). Warren is the Executive Director of Men for Missions.

Matt and Lindsay Vollmar will host John and Colleen Eisenberg from the Mission Society who have been working in Paraguay.

St. Matthew will host David Kremmel from Intervasity. This is a meeting for youth and young adults.

 

Friday, January 27- Missions Banquet in Fellowship Hall including more mission interviews. Fellowship begins at 6:00 p.m. with dinner being served at 6:30 p.m.

 

Saturday, January 28- Wesley Men's and Women's Breakfast with missionary speakers.

Women will meet in Park Room to hear Marian Ammons talk about her parents who were missionaries in China. She and her sister wrote a book of their experiences and it is a very powerful example of serving God in missions. Sign up at the Welcome Center.

 

Sunday, January 29- Missionaries will be the guest speakers in Sunday school classes, and guest speaker Bob Swickard will preach about how you can be involved in the mission of taking Jesus Christ's gospel to the world. Danny and Julie Beasley will be Sunday Evening's guest speakers.
